The project reimagines the triangular parcel at the intersection of Broadway and Cambridge Street. The site appears today as residual space, marginalized by a lack of pedestrian access and problematic grade separations. However, the site actually interacts with its surroundings in many ways, and these interconnections could define its identity. The design emphasizes relations (shadow, sound, and wind created by the surroundings) as well as the site’s intrinsic qualities (topography and orientation). The once neglected intersection could become a dynamic connection point and urban oasis.
