The design of Moffett Place provides a critical step for the implementation of the campus master plan. It provides solutions for improved connectivity across multiple facets and to elevate the overall campus environment. The design team proposed planting trees to provide shade, shelter, habitat values, and, most importantly, to filter air and noise pollution from Highway 237, which borders the Bordeaux Area Campus to the south. A strong ground plane unites the site, generating a distinct and cohesive identity.
